This is an operational information document for lakes.sk. We recommend legal review at the next update (e.g. when a contact form is launched).

This page describes how LAKES, s. r. o. processes personal data when you uselakes.sk, contact us by email or phone, and when you accept analytics cookies.

No data protection officer (DPO) is appointed — LAKES does not process data on a scale that would require a DPO under GDPR Article 37.
3. Scope and purposes
- Technical server logs — website availability and security.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) — visit statistics and on-page behaviour (clicks, scroll) after consent via the cookie banner; no analytics before consent (Consent Mode v2).
- Email or phone contact — handling your enquiry; we process data you provide (name, email, phone, message, attachments).
- Contact form — name/company, email, optional phone, service, optional dimensions/weight, message; delivered to lakes@lakes.sk via Cloudflare Pages and Resend; Turnstile anti-spam. No attachments in form.
4. Legal bases
- Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest (operation, security).
- Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — pre-contractual steps for enquiries.
- Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — consent for Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.
5. Retention
- Email/phone enquiries: typically up to 3 years after last contact.
- Google Analytics / Microsoft Clarity: per provider settings; local consent until browser data is cleared.
- Technical logs: typically no longer than 12 months unless the provider specifies otherwise.

7. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent. Contactlakes@lakes.sk. You may lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority (dataprotection.gov.sk).
8. Cookies and analytics
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, ID G-9P1FN0SDK0, and Microsoft Clarity) load only after you accept in the banner. Clarity records clicks and page movement, not passwords. Before that, analytics is denied (Consent Mode v2).
9. Contact form
The form on Contact processes name/company, email, optional phone, service type, optional dimensions/weight and message. Purpose: handling your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Attachments by email only. Delivery via Cloudflare Pages and Resend to lakes@lakes.sk; Turnstile anti-abuse.
